    Ok. This poll is about what kind of monitors are better. I am unsure of which to get so help me decide. CRT or LCD.

    Do not focus on the difference of size between the two.
    I want performance/quality wize. This is mainly for gaming so which is best for that?

    Crt = Gaming
    LCD = everything else

    CRT overall > LCD for performance, looks go to LCD hands down.

    I agree I myself am using an LCD because the 19" CRT was taking up too much space & was bad for my health, but I'm happy with my 17" 8ms response time LCD ^_^

    i've got two LCD 19'' screens here and they are just great for gaming....
    make sure you check the refresh rate of a LCD screen if you're tihnking about getting one, both my screens have a 12ms refresh rate and i can hardly see the difference anymore between these screens and a RCT monitor...
    12ms or 8ms should be great for gaming :)

    I'd go with lcd any day. I have a 17" and 19" crt right now. they each weigh about a ton...

    I cant wait until I can afford lcds and gain alot of space back

    with crts you can get a much higher resolution and are better for gaming, but i would go with a lcd with 8ms response time becuase you cant tell the differnce and they look better.

    for me i use a lcd 19inch 8ms response and it plays games perfect and then i use my old crt monitor for dual.

    I have a 17 inch lcd and my bro has a 20 inch crt ive played on both but like the lcd a lot better. The CRT also produces radiation which makes you tired.
