Ps 7 Text

Everytime I try to put text on a document in photoshop it always turns out grainy and very unatractive.
Anybody know how to fix this?

 

Anti-Aliasing maybe? Its in the toolbar at the top. Look for an A/A icon..

 

I have it on none, is that what its supposed to be?

 

No.

Just change it yourself, scroll thru them to see which looks best to you.

None is only good for pixel fonts. other than that its horrible.
