OMG, I am so happy I got a Ford Taurus. Why you may ask?
When I get hit by a 16 year old punk who is driving his new car thats payed for by mommy and daddy, I don't have to worry about high insurance rates. I'm at what $40 for 6 months right now. :P It's nice, but too many parents will buy it for junior who hasn't taken drivers ed.

It was illegal because of the following:

    Engine block.
    Bodykit/chasis
    ...

Plus, Japan never bothers to produce US-spec Skyline GT-R cars, unlike Evolution, STi, etc.

You can legalize it, but it will take so much time and money that you need to be a diehard fan of it to obtain it with so many preexisting difficulties.

Lol, that car is from 2 Fast 2 Furious :P

Anyway, I think when it comes, it won't have NOS, no neon light, no stickers etc. So it will just be a normal car..

It was only the R34GTR that was illegalized in the first place. Standard Skylines are perfectly street legal, they just cost $60k+ to import to America. I honestly don't think the streetlegalization of the GTR and/or putting it into production in America is going to be a big deal to anyone but enthusiasts. Sure wouldn't mind having one myself though.

the skyline's only legal in about 3 or 4 states. Coming out next year?? They've stopped making them a long time ago. You'd be lucky if u'd find or afford one in your state.
