your making a big mistake , every single piece in that computer stinks , the cpu/video card/motherboard/so little ram/and all of the rest , except the harddrive which is okie if you want some better cheap choices , just tell me and i'll help
Am i missing something here???? since when has 512MB ram and 128MB gfx card been crap?? Everything in that PC listed is twice the power of mine at least and it works out roughly £400. Admittedly a shop local to me can do me the same for £80 less but why is the system he specified so crap?

You cant go wrong with corsair so thats good if you dont plan to do 3Ds Max or huge content creatation stuff (Video) then stick with 512 for now but if you do then get at least 1 Gig, yeah the Hard drive is a good size to have these days if you download a hell of a lot of stuff, and do videos you might opt for a larger hard drive say 250Gigs or a 300 Gig but 160 is more than enough if your going to stick to photoshoping and light to medium gaming. Ok so 512MB ram and 128MB gfx card is crap. Can anyone name any game/program that requires you to have more than this to use cos i sure as hell don't know of any. I'm running 256MB ram and i have very few problems with the games i play. Gonna upgrade soon though.
Battlefield 2, F.E.A.R. The proc is fine but everything else is pretty much crap. If you are going Intel you need to get a 955x mobo and 1gb of ram.

I have that graphics card and am soon going to upgrade. It handles all the old games and the new ones but does lag if you put the settings too high but I want them at their 100% best qualityy available so I am gonna get a nice graphics card that can handle that. 512 is fine as Spectre said but it really dpends on what you do. 1 gig is my new minimum becuase of all the things I do on my computer. There really is no noticeable difference between 1 and 2 gigs of ram but there is a huge performance difference and you may notice it somehow but it is not really appearant in everyday apps.

Or for some of the future games 2 gigs can help. Thats what I heard at least...ex. fear, I heard it helps for that..
I played F.E.A.R at my friend's place and it took ages to load (he had 1 gig of RAM) but this could also account for the insane amount of background apps :|
