I got a DMG file on my pc, running on Windwos XP. Already searched on Google but couldn't find an good solution. How do I convert the .dmg file to an .iso file so I can burn and instal the program First one with a solution that helps me gets 10 creds Chau PS. This one didn't worked for me: hdiutil convert /path/to/filename.dmg -format UDTO -o /path/to/savefile.iso Couldn't find the hdiutil.
it's a mac iso file. you can not burn it on XP. you probly could, but it would burn to a cd as the mac files..
I don't know but have you tried stuffit...the unzip/zip program...not sure if it'll work for pc's b/c i haven't tried but i saw that they can unzip dmg files
It can't extract/unzip dmg files: .arc .as .bin .btoa .bz2 .bzip .cab .cpt .exe .gz .gzip .hqx .hqz .lha .lzh .mime .pf .pkg .rar .sea .sit .sitx .smi .tar .taz .tgz .uu .uue .yenc .z .zip
then i would say you are ----ed... looks like you need a mac, and if its a program, will only probably work on a mac. so get an iso, or cue files in the future

If the .dmg file is for Adobe Photoshop, you need to find the Windows Link. http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photos..._CS2_tryout.zip But tell me if it is for another program.
yea alcohol should read it if not Nero virtual drive will, oir another virtual drive shud work just as well
