Need Help

on photoshop, when you hit F5, it brings up the Brushes tab, and you can change a whole bunch of settings, but how come with the smudge tool, you can only adjust, "Shape Dynamics" and "other Dynamics"


I'm following a tut, and theres one step where he can adjust almost anything

any ideas??

 

using smudge you should be able to change shape dynamics, other dynamics, scattering, noise and smooting

any other edits that are unavailable dont apply for smudging.

 

so how do i adjust scattering, noise and smooting


its unavaible for me, do i need to move some files some where?

 

Are you using the same version of Photoshop that the tutorial creator is using??? I sometimes found this was my problem before i got CS2

is the tut written for PS 7? cause i knwo a lot of people have problems with smudging in PS7

 

Scattering is what I usually edit for my smudge sigs. You must be able to edit that...

 

Scattering is best used with CS2. Photoshop 7 has problems doing smudging.
