    Cartoons dont age.... and simpsons was not created in 2005, therefore his 'age' wouldnt be to 2005.

    He's 39!!

    And I don't think they're really aging because Bart & Lisa are in the same grades they were always in and Maggie hasn't aged at all.

    i know they dont age i admit it, and i meant the year that ep was made in sorry i dint think about it...damn...

    If characters dont age, and we know he was born on "1956" then we find out the first simpsons episode made,

    According to this, " http://www.snpp.com/guides/ql.html " it was in 1987, so you do 1987 - 1956 and get 31, he was 31 when the show was made. He doesnt age so he stays 31 since he is a cartoon character.

    But his D.O.B changes in a few episodes, that is just his age according to that episode.

    Who cares how old he is? The Simpsons are hilarious, thats all that matters.

    i've seen the episode where he gives that detective his email , lol he doesnt even have a computer :D
