I like that SOTW Voting Team. Kind of rings a bell. *Ding Ding*

    Anyway, that's a swell idea. ;)

Interesting point of view, but who decides whos experienced and whos not. Oh wait, its those same folks who vote for the Sig of the Week currently, well that puts us in a bind..

Currently, the Sig of the Week allows for a complete chance of anyone to win the Sig of the Week, as seen by a few of the recent S.O.T.Ws. Not to beat a dead horse, but i once remembered something Irrelevant told me. He entered and won the first Sig of the Week he entered, and he claimed it wasn't even that good. Boost of confidence, and now we have some amazing pieces by him.

Regardless of how the voting is done, its going to be based on PERSONAL OPINION. Regardless of whos opinion it is, its still a opinion. What makes a 'pros' opinion better then mine, experience? Confidence? No, its other peoples opinions regarding his work - which propel him to 'pro' status.

Everything goes back to opinion, and Sig of the Week is ran by human judgement. The only way we would be able to have a fair Sig of the Week is if we created a guideline of what the perfect signature is, which would kill creativity and make all signatures look the same. Oh wait, who decides the perfect signature? Damn that word 'opinion',

Okay, so you all look for something different in a signature. I like that.

I'm just curious, but does this mean that the Music-themed SOTW isn't going to go through -- i.e. there is no winner to it?

I'd also like to say that I'm pissed off a few immature ----wads are ruining it for so many people. Who gives a flying ---- who wins or losses, or who gets credits. W/E. I'm just in it for fun and the recognition and to show off work and see other people's work. The only time I use credits are to give to people for their renders and to change my title once. You can get 150 creds easily if you just post whore in a day...

That doesnt make sense... How do you suppose creativity will die?

I totaly agree with bftp now, I always agree with the final winner and it really agravates me that a few little sore losers ruin it for us all.

I think the system we had was the best and the most reliable.

Lack of anything new, the same trendwhore'd ---- is entered every week, absolute no effort or creativity put into the sig. You know?, most sigs on GR are like it...
