IE is working just fine by me, the only negative thing I have is that I can't see .png files transparant.

But I heard thet Firefox isn't that great tho. SOmetimes, you need to tripple click on a link or something, and downloading goes slower than IE.

I say it's better. When i first replaced IE with FF the first thing i noticed was the speed of which it opened a site. Other than that it has Button Bookmarks which i find great and useful.

    As master said.

I was readin at my uncles house like some computer magazine, like an official one. They compared IE and MF and MF was much better, so they said. And it is. Esspecially when you give it the speed tweaks.

Fx is allreaound faster than IE, though it isn't the fastest Browser out there. DLs take significantly less time and you can easily tweek FF to be faster than IE by a great amount. on the whole here are the advantages + disadvantages of both.

    IE6:
+integrated into windows so it takes few resources
+"better" CSS2 support in terms of extras
-integrated into windows so a malicious program can more easily F you over
    -outdated and slow
-less secure(more vulnerable to more things)
    -no tabbed browsing
    -no/little .PNG support

    Fx:
    +easily customized
+up to date with W3C standards
    +faster especially when optimized
+extensions and themes can be applied
+almost entrely virus proof, though no entirely
    +tabbed browsing
    +more tweekable
-a little less efficient with resources(shouldn't matter on computers from 2000 and newer and even most older computers)

    Opera:
    +customizeable
+up to date with W3C standards
+faster than even Fx though it may be slightly behind Fx when Fx
+some extensions and themes can be applied
+almost entrely virus proof, though not entirely
    +tabbed browsing
    +semi-tweekable
    +more secure than even Fx
+very efficient with resources, though may take marginally more ram than IE(not much and it's insignificant)
    -not perfect? I don't know

Opera is on the whole a good browser, though I use Fx because of its extra customization and a few other small features.

another plus for opera, it saves your tabs, where Fx doesnt.
