what i need to do is create an exe. I want it to open when i do something, such as when i click on a certain folder, the internet will open up, or when i open the internet, my computer will open up without me having to click or do anything.

if this is possible, what should i be using, where could i find a tutorial for it, and how hard will it be?

    thanks for responses. : :D

if you need me to elaborate on what i need it to do exactly or what i'l be using it for just ask.

if im completely crazy and sound like a retard and have no idea about anything then just ignore me and dont respond.

You want to make a connection with the internet? Then add your dailer / sign-up program to your 'execute on start-up' list of your PC. If you want to make your browser start when you boot up your PC, add your browser of choice to your 'execute on start-up' list.

If you want a running services that starts up one of the above whenever you do something you need to program something in c++ / vb / you name it.

Kuestionmark if I read right you also what your web browser to load upon startup?

Click and drag your web browser shortcut icon to this location, assuming you have windows XP

Start > all programs > startup

Anything in the startup place will load prior to startup.
