Those stupid, idiot politicians. Why would you get rid of the 4th of July celebration. Many people died for the belief that allowed this country to run.

Edit: And this is how they repay their deaths? I wish someone would shoot them (seriously)

K guys i'd greatly appreciate it if your didn't use the word...'christain' in this thread again, i find it very offencive as im not a christian. Id also like it if you did'nt mention christmas, i also find that offencive. Now if you want to mention christmas can you please call it 'Day that has no affiliation to any religion so everybody can take part without getting offended or discriminated against'. Thanks guys i hope you can understand that im a big ----- and find words offencive.

Woooooooohoooooooo!!!!!! America's political correctness at its finest, awesome.

*Ahem* Right, so this is quite stupid. First off the Christmas tree thing:
Find me one Jewish person who is buying a freaking Christmas tree.

That's right, there are none, so can we please get over this?

Second, the whole "equality" thing. For over 230 years, America has been a Christian country, founded by Christians, that celebrated Christian holidays! Now we are trying to accomadate everyone? Quite idiotic if you ask me, as this is a Christian country, and always has been.

The reason they complain is seemingly because some of these people who celebrate other religions get offended. They should just shut up and take advantage of the sales.

And what the hell was that about July 4th??? :censored:

That is the day this country formally became a country, how the hell can that be offensive to anyone?
"Oh, darn, America became a country...death to them all."

How do I know this is crap, because i'm an atheist and i agree with the most die-hard evangelicals out there.

@Phoenix_22- My friend is a jew by birth, yet they have a christmas tree. They dont practice jewdism, but they are still jews.

Anyways yah i think this is getting way blown out of proportion. Stores do it cause they dont want to take a chance and offend some crazy religous person. the white house didnt name its tree the christmas tree cause its suposed to be open to everyone except gays of course *joke* then the media is a bunch of morons and blow this thing way out of proportion.

When political correctness goes to such an extent that they ban holidays due to offending other religions is when the term 'Political Correctness' becomes a complete oxymoron of itself.

Apparently, you have to be SO sensitive to the beliefs of others nowadays that you have to shut your own beliefs in the cellar.

Hell, why stop there? Let's ban everything and live like they did in the movie 'Equilibrium'

Political correctness, what a f****** joke.

Well, in the Catholic Church, there are Saints' Feast Days, miscellanious feast days, and such.. St Patricks Day and St Valentines Day to name 2 of them. The other major ones are Pentecost, all Souls' Day and All Saints' Day.

I feel like becoming a politician, insulting the other idiotic politicians, then fixing what the previous idiotic politicians did to this country.
