Its just another example of olitical Correction gone mad. I live in England and hear of this sort of thing nearly every day. One prison has banned its kitchens from serving Bacon sandwiches as there are a few people who aren't allowed bacon due to their religious beliefs (not sure which group so i won't make a fool of myself.) One city has built a block of new houses for "Anyone in the community who needs them" when they were checked out every single house had a "Buddhist" shrine room decked out for buddhists to pray in. The council stated that this was not the case and they were just normal rooms. Ask any none Christian if they are offended by christmas or any other holiday or celebration and the vast majority will say "NO, We take part in it too" The only thing that should be banned is Political Correctness.
it's understandable if the majority don't believe in it, I'm not sure what 4th july holiday is, and as for xmas its a good time to pass on presents but i'm not enjoying it for any religous reasons
i have 1 view on this. Its a Christian country so we should be celebrating christmas and be allowed to show it in shops, homes and anywhere. If people dont like it then they shouldnt live here. Im not being racist cause i honestly couldnt care if they were here or not, but in a christian country we should be able to have decorations for anything we want and wherever we want.
what country do you come from? every country has there own religions you posted that reply as if this is the only region allowed and no one is not allowed to believe it, i don't believe in any religion and it is quite wrong to force any one into believeing some thing they can't
that's all bull, really christmas is so secularised that as it is it shouldn't offend anyone and the rest of everything else is all trash
