wow ! how come a virus can control the psu ?

it is a heat provblem get everest home edition and give us some temps [/b][/quote]
IT IS NOT A HEAT PROBLEM. Please stop posting in the pc section.

Who is the manufacturer, a local store or a big company. If it is a local store they should have given you a copy of windows if they installed it, if it was a big company (compaq, dell, etc) they should have given a restore disk or partition.

^it is not that. I know what it is. It is a corruption/error in the NTFS file system however I have not been able to find a fix for that particular error as I am only findng similar ones.

scan ur pc with antivirus - i recommend AVG - then scan for adaware nd then scan for spyware, this should help, check ur running processes too, to make sure nothin suspisious is running, wintasks5 can help these or tuneup utilities, update all drivers too as this can lower the load of some hardware.
if u wuld like more info IM on [email protected]

I have scanned everything with antivirus, and anti-spyware and it hasn't found anything at all. on startup i held down delete to enter setup, and i went to restore default something, and that was like 4 hours ago. and there has been nothing wrong. i found that on the manufacturers website, but it may heppen again soon.
