    well, its been happening for a while, i dont recall the time when it first started to happen. i might have to reinstall windows, will that erase everything thats on my PC?

    Yes it will, I think(happened to me.) Try to set it like a month back

    I will see what I can dig up. Also it could be the ram it doesnt matter if you have 1gb, it could be faulty. Can you download Memtest+ and make a boot disc and load it up and tell me if it comes up with errors. Especially look at test 5.

    I havn't had my PC for a month yet! i have had it around 3 weeks, its new you see. thats why im shocked that this blue screen thing is happening already!

    or maybe try calling the company and ask how can you makes it go away.

    Did they install your copy of windows. and has this been happening since you got it, because it seems to be a corruption of your NTFS data system.

    Yea, it has been doing it since i got the thing, about 3 weeks ago... i cant be bothered with phoning them up and all that for them to tell me they cant fix it or something. hey defuzion. how do i fix this problem?

    well they have installed a bad copy of xp. the file system is corrupted from what I can establish. Email or phone MS and tell them the error message and see if there is a fix. If there is no fix take a picture of the error message and then reformat and fix it up. Then go into the computer store with the picture and complain. Or maybe take the messed up pc in and complain, maybe get some compensation.

    Thanks, i do have a warranty and free technical support. if i reinstalled windows, would it erase everything that i already have on here? like my games and music and stuff.

    yes, so you should backup everything to cd or dvd.

    it wouldnt delete every u do IF u didnt do the format option but it still fixes the filedsystem normally

    i dont have a restore disc or anything like that, so i dont know what to do about it, i may phone up my cousin, hes good with PCs.
    i have been on the phone to the manufacturers for like 10 minutes, and all i hear is stupid music.

    wow ! how come a virus can control the psu ?

    it is a heat provblem get everest home edition and give us some temps
