i dunno if anyone is even gonna understand this, but when i use my line tool, instead of it just being in its own layer... it makes a new layer like this: instead of using a new layer for as many lines as i want... i dunno if anyone understands what im talking about... but i tried lol
use the horizontal/vertical marquee tool and then ctrl + T it. You're creating new shape layers instead of just filling in a line.
