I'm currently on my laptop right now..How do you make those symbols with out a number key pad .. Like for example Alt + 7 or Alt + 424 .. I did it once but I forgot how, it was a long long time ago..I forgot <_< . I have a Dell Inspiron | 500m , if you need to know what the laptop's keyboard looks like, refer to that I guess..Just a regular keyboard without right number pad.
I always use my laptop and i have a dell inspiron 1200, it has blue buttons on it, to use them i hold down the "Fn" button.
it wouldnt be 50.... computers werent invented 50 years ago.... you could just get a little usb keypad and program it like the numeric keypd... here: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...60981&CatId=536

The link didn't work, and no I don't want a num pad on the side of my laptop..I go around with it a lot and I don't want to carry random garbage .
You can always just copy and paste by doing this: START >> PROGRAMS >> ACCESSORIES >> SYSTEM TOOLS >> CHARACTER MAP Sometimes the character map is in accessories, especially the older programs. Then choose your font, double click the symbol you want to use, and it'll show up at the bottom blank line for an easy Copy & Paste.
