http://www.tomyumgoongmovie.com/ Pretty good movie. Loaded with alot of fight scenes, some good, some bad. It's another Ong Bak I say. The factory scene vs all those bikers and skaters was...well..not that great since he really didn't beat them down...This scene was focuses mainly on the Hero evading the bikers/skaters anyway he could while doing minimal attacks to them..pretty good though. After reading on other places that ppl were raving about the 4 minute stairway fight that is supposed to be some big "record breaker in fight scenes"...I was really let down....This scene just had the main character fight his way up a restaurant on many levels, the cameraman had to follow him around without pausing..you'd think it would be impressive but when you lay down so many thugs with a simple kick..punch or trip and that supposedly knocks them down for a long time..it just isn't that good... Him vs "Jonny" was alright, being as short as it was, but still ok. The best fight scene I think was what you see in the trailers, the burning temple vs 3 tough bosses. A Capoera dude who made a very slick, cool intro hehe, a sword wielding dude which was alright and Nathan Jones.. That scene was really good. The second last big battle where he beats up around 40 thugs in a single room..well..you can only hear the same "bone breaking" effect so many times..lol..but when it's on every single one..ya know....The hero did show some very cool offensive and defensive maneuvers in that part. Him vs like 4 body builders was pretty intense lol..cool fight scene. The movie had its ups and downs but it still delivers with the "Tony Jaa" style. For those Ong Bak fans out there, you should really check this film out if you haven't already.
it has like hlaf the same crew as ong bak lol but yea looks more of a sequel to ong bak.....ima buy it on dvd when it comes out since i was a fan of ong bak
Well it's not a sequel to Ong Bak. Same "thai" actors and thai "atmoshphere when they get into their culture. But, it has new characters played by some Ong Bak actors. It's a different story anyways. Good film.
I still prefer Jet Li over Tony Jaa. Fist of Legend is a very good martial arts movie. I like that one more then eitehr Tony Jaa film to date.
