I live in ATlanta and over the night there was freezing rain and in the morning the tress were all frozen n shi, but no snow. So here in the south whenever it gets icey or a tiny bit snowy everyone freaks out and the close down the schools. So I thought I didnt have school. So I sleep in. (I start at 8:40) So my dad calls me at 8:30 and says I do have school. So my mom drives me. I get there at my highschool with about I think 2500 kids, mabye more. And the power is out. So its all dark and there are teachers with flashlights, everyone has there cell out. They cram half of us in the cafetaria and some in the gym. THey have like teachers gaurding the doors so you cant leave. And we are just sitting there. Everyone in the caf gets up on the tables and just starts yelling, that lasted like a minute. Later in the gym, its HUUUGe so the whole floor was filled with people. A girl got arrested for stealing purses, guys snuck out into the halls and were running around shinning flash lights ni teachers faces going "HAHA YOU DONT KNOW WHO I AM!!" Then everyone startted to chant "LET US OUT" it was tight So after 2 hours of waiint we finally were allllllowed to go home
thats awesome, yeah i dont start school till like 10, so i can sleep till about 9 or so everyday its soooo nice....
Thats awesome. I havent gone to school all week. I got done with Finals and feel theres no need to go back for a while.
lucky you... here in norway i need to take the Bus at 7 am... and the school wouldnt be close eving if its over -20 or maybe -30! lucky guys.. if our schools got closed just for snow. we wouldnt have school from september until april/may!..
Whatever time of year it is here in the UK, no cool stuff like that reall happens. hardly any snow or anything. you sound pretty lucky, and the story sounded funny too.
damn.... that's like what happened twice when there was a bomb scare at school, except we were outside, we had to go accross the street and about half the kids went home that could drive, and they decided after 30 minutes to send us home...
Here was very freezing rain! We had 2 hours of school delay, we wouldn't have school if this wasn't the exam week.
haha. [/b][/quote] Man like the gym floor we were on there is 2 levels we are on bottom. These kids were like climbig the bleachers which were put up(so there like 10 feet tall) to get to the top floor and run out. Its was crazy
