Yesterday I just ordered a new graphics card. My Geforce 5200 FX just wasn't cutting it anymore and I wanted to play F.E.A.R, Call of Duty 2, and get a better experience out of my other games. I ended up ordering the ASUS x850 XT Platinum Edition. I didn't feel like upgrading to PCI-E and got this, which is AGP x8. It should run fine and I just can't wait to get it!!! :D

I can run Half Life 2 and CoD2 at medium settings on my GeForce4 MX 4400  It's the most stable small card I've ever seen.

You got a pretty nice card. I'm getting a GeForce 6600 pretty soon. ^_^

Better. I'd put it at about a 6600 GT. But it also costs alot more. I'm getting my card for under $120... a x800 GTO is about $180-$190.

    no a x800gto doesnt go against a 6600gt a x700pro does. x800's pwn 6600 series.
    x800gto goes against 6800-6800gt.

Nice card. I have a Radeon All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro. Works perfectly fine because it is one of the better old cards by ATI.

Might switch to nVidia soon though. :D

Nope. It would run the same. No cards except for the latest 7800's and x1800Xt's utilise pci-e to the fullest, aswell as crossfire and sli combos.
