I'm just wondering if theres a dsl cable splitter (or a bannana plug ) for the dsl plug in. I have a wireless connection on the wall and it goes to the router. There is 2 spots where you could hook up the dsl chord but one of them does not work. I don't know how to fix it either. Is there a way I can fix this? And another problem is I have wireless internet connection for my desktop and it works..Sometims it works..And if it does work it goes incredibally slow.It's like 10 times slower then dial up. I don't get why it's going so slow when my laptop has wireless internet and it goes really fast..Does anyone know how I can fix this..? Please Help, I'm sorry if you can't understand it because..I kind of can't either .
Firstly you cannot have dsl coming through 2 different connection points in your house. You can only have 1 modem hooked up. Secondly is your wireless going throught thick as walls?
for the wireless, if you get a slow connection, then you would need to find where the wireless router is, and if there are heating ducts in your house that are in the way, you need to get an attanae (sp?) that will shoot it through the ducts...
as far as I know, there is no way save for using the router, try getting another one. and trust me defusion, there is a way for a second cord to come through a wall, it involves plugging a cat6 ethernet cable into th back of the router drilling a few holes and climbing through the attic- a lot.
Well, You people don't get it, It's not drilled through the wall, it's like a phone jack port..I hook it up in that.. So it's like a phone jack port thing in the wall but for ethernet chords..It leads to my router.

I know that. I was saying you cant have 2 modems hooked up at different points in the house on one connection.
I'm having a problem where my two laptops recieve perfect internet from my wireless router and my main pc is getting the slowest speed ever it even cuts out alot, my gear aint cheap either running fastest and strongest netgear equipment available.... So i'm guessing your in the same boat as me there... Have you checked your routers settings see if you can pump it up to 108Mbps minds running at that but still aint helping much but if yours is not and can go that fast give it a shot. EDIT: just some spelling correction's.
Yes my card is capable of 58Mbps or 50 something, but still what's got me puzzled is my PC's adapter is faster then all the laptops adapters and it's getting a signal strength of 1 bar out of 6 where as the laptops are recieving a full 6 bars, I figured maybe the router can't handle more then 2 comps but it has 8 antennes... it's so weird aye that the gay laptops recieve perfect internet yet my $---- computer can't.

If you have netgear it's possible that you have sbc yahoo dsl, am I correct on that? Sorry again for the double post..
SBC yahoo DSL? Never heard of it, if your reffering to the internet connection/speed im running OnTheNet Turbo 24Mbps/1Mbps. All the gear I bought myself with the help of an IT proffesional that does my mum's office.
Who does your internet service or internet hosting such as listed below : Comcast Digital Cable Sbc Dsl Etc..
