James Blunt

I love James Blunt, he has to be one of the most talented people debuting this year, but his songs have two sides, like many others, his song "Beautiful", can be seen as a song saying he loves 1 woman and that she is beautiful, but it can also be seen as james stalking a woman that already has a boyfriend.

And "Good Bye my Lover" is another one, it can be seen as him saying good bye coz his lover died or he "died", and he is saying he loves her, but one line says "And i took whats mine, By Eternal Right. And i took your Soul out into the night" saying he took her soul and took her in to the "night", death.

I would like to your opinions?

and yes, I think hes a bit crazy, but as am I, that is normal.

 

Can't say I like him too much. I did see him on SNL though on Saturday and man is he weird. He didn't take his eyes off the camera at all. Scary. :blink:

 

Yeah, I saw him on SNL too. The music was good, but it looked like he had done some drugs, he like never blinked once. But, the music is the important thing, and if we don't search too deeply into his lyrics, then he's good.

I kinda dissliek the whole romantic thing and to be honest i dissliek the song he sang ( cant remmebr what its called now ) buuut i juts gotta love his accent .. for some reason i only listen to his songs cause of his unbelievable accent :lol:

 

Ive heared his songs, I dont like them and he does look a bit gumpy and strange, (psycho)

yer i agree, his voice is very unique. I did like beautigul, havn't heard anything else enough to judge it yet...

 

in england his songs were everywhere, radio and ads 1st i liked it, then got annoyed now i understand its good

 

He writes some nice pop ballads, I think he is enjoying his 15 minutes of fame, but I hardly see him having a long career. He's alright though.

 

i think james blunts songs are really good. I bought the Album and discovered a few things about it. He Talks about Being High (Pot). I also think he ran out of Ideas for the words to his songs. In one song the whole of the Chorus is just 4 words, Out Of My Mind repeated.
