Ok first you will need some grunge brushes, here they are zipped.
    Brushes Here

    1. after loading the brushes, open a new document. you can use any size you want but i like <400 ^150
    2. reset your colours by pressing d. then get out the ProphetsSet5 brushes. start brushing around, till you get somthing like this

    3. now it time to add some more contrast. get out the darkfog brushes, and brush around. try to get some contrast between light and dark. you should have somthing like this

    4. now we are going to colour the backgound make a new layer and fill it with dark blue, set the blending mode to colour.
    5. make another layer over that and fill it with dark red. this time set the blending mode to soft light, you should have something like this.

6.now we are going to make a border. make a new layer and press ctrl and delete to fill it in white.then go to EDIT >> Stroke and add a 2px stroke.you should have this

    7. now press w to get out the magic wand tool and click anywhere on the white bit in the middle and press delete. you should see your background again now
    8. leave the border at that for now we will add effects later.you should have this

9.now we will add a render get them from the gallery here or use something you got from somewhere else.
10.once you have cut out your render paste it into the image. press ctrl and t to resize it and move it in place.

11.now its time to blend the render in, scroll though the renders blend modes to see what one looks best, i have gone for hard light, but it depends on the render.
12.press e to get out the eraser and pick the ProphetsSet5 brushes.
    13. now slowly start to brush away at the edges of the render, until it starts to blend with the background, like this

    14. now we are going to blend the render in even more by changing the hue and staturation, press ctrl and b do get the menu up. move the sliders up and down till the colours match the background better.
15.now we will go back to the border right click it on the layers menu and pick blending options. add a colour overlay that matchs the sig and add a black 1px stroke

16.now we are going to add the text. find a font that fits and write your name or whatever you need to right
    17. now go into the blending options for the text and add a black 1 px stroke and a gradient overlay with colours the match.
    18. and now you can just add your own little touchs to it. and if you followed the tut properly you will have a neat little sig :D

im sorry. i lost my end result =( if someone would please post theirs it would be appreciated. also if you dont add the two layers for color you can use ctrl-b on your render layer and bg layer to create a color, or you can change the colors of the layers to get a nice color.

if you did like this please +rep me or donate creds.

If you didnt like this please dont take away from my rep. thank you and happy sig making.
