OTHER> Jimi Hendrix He pioneered the sound that most of those guys in the list made a living at using. His music was groundbreaking for its time, and his general presence as a musician was awe-inspiring. My Uncle was at Woodstock 69' and he said when Jimi played 'The Star Spangled Banner' he didn't know whether to salute the flag or smoke a joint :lol: . Oh, and I'd bet that if you asked the other guitarists listed, they'd probably say the same thing. ^_^
lol... i'd like to think of myself as the greatest guitarist in the world as well.... but i doubt anyone on this forum is... unless John Petrucci is into graphic design
well im obviously gonna have to say Joe Satriani is the greatest,and if u knew this u would know that joe taught steve vai and kirk hammett how to play. i saw joe in concert,SIMPLY AMAZING,he just rocks the place

i dont know if theres a site that has guitar solos..... but u can look any of them up and prolly find some 'peices' of songs somwhere
