ever since i ahve useed my ps2 as a dvd player the people in the movies have been squished and look extremely skinny.

just wondering if this is fixable, its my tv, its the ps2, or if its just wacko.

    thanks guys

i havent had that problem before but have had lots of others, i fixed it by turning the ps2 either on the side or back down ( | or _ ) opposite of whatever i had it and everything normally fixes

If your PS2 is an officially bought one (from a shop, not a friend) then you should have got a disk with it that installs the DVD properties on your system (thats what i got anyway).
Also remember don't buy one of those useless DVD remotes for it. Just use the joypad. Works just as well and doesn't cost a fortune.

Weird. Unless it came with the remote i bought????? I know i couldn't play a DvD until i had all the info on.
My PS2 was one of the original versions brought out so they may have sorted it for newer versions.

Maybe that was all a weird dream and i just seem to be talking rubbish.

you should take it to another TV and try it just to make sure its the PS2 not the TV.
