What Is Time?

    I sit here and wonder, as the so called 'time' just flies by.

    So the question is, what exactly is time?

    Who created the concept of time? Why create the concept?

    Time is here in our lives, to create a series of events. What would we do without time. If time stopped, would life stop?

    What if time did not exist, how would we know when something happened?

    Then again, what is time? Just a few numbers displayed on a clock?

    Time creates moments, moments are created by time.

    If time did not exist, we would only live in a world with one moment. Only a single moment exists and everything happens in it. Time would not play a major role in peoples lives.

    Think about it, time is the most important thing. People have agendas, dates, appointments, etc. Time is in everyones life and plays a significant role.

    Therefore, time is a prison. Time is how humans keep themselves locked up and away from the things they love. One who stops time, will live for the moment, which exists for eternity.

    time has two meanings,this life,and the numeral version of the part of the day (like 4:00).who invented it?I think the egyptians or the scientists of greece,whoever it was,they had a reason.to keep track of whatever objective they needed to start or complete.but if we didnt have the "life" time,we wouldnt exist.

    u know man that is a very interesting thing ur saying and the funny thing is its all true but jus imagine everyday living on and on. only thing that changes is that about half of the time it would be light out and the other half dark life and time especially is one hell of interesting thing.

    Well, time is just a thing used to measure life going on.
    If there wasn't time, how would anyone know when something would happen?
    And I think it was the ancient Egyptians or the Phonecians (sp?) that invented the time measurements, at first judged by the movement of the sun.

    time is a property of all that which exists and it is distorted by mass.

    well...some dude in the past had an idea for setting up time for the world, so it would be easier for all of us :P;)

    time is just a word for something that no one understands. like why does it only go forward, what makes it go forward, can it be traveled. the only thing we know about time is how to measure it in one direction, and no one invented time cuz it has always been here

    pretty deep thoughts there... im way to lazy to even try on that one.

    about it being stoner thoughts... yeah, that wouldnt surpise me at all.
