Hey yall just pick which book you liked the best.... i voted the order of the phoenix for many reasons...although the sixth followed INCREDIBLY CLOSE....the reason i didnt choose the fourth book is only because the fifth book i find... is a bit better than it... but the fourth would be my third chouce.... and the first second and third i dont find very great... they were well written... but the second and third... just seemed like something put in to put space between the HARRY POTTER/VOLDEMORT phrophecy.... like a journal of tom riddle?.... it tells us more about the life of some of our favourite characters... but it doesnt really push the whole SERIES of books forward... and the third introduces Sirius Black.... but the whole book was devoted to that... and i didnt find that very great......anyways... not criticizing J K ROWLING... shes a great author.... reasons i like the 5th book...i love the hardships harry has to face in this book.... and it all leads up to the end of the book.... this book is just an introduction to the 6th one.... but it has a great climax.....and it also has the greatest line i have ever seen written....when Voldemort meets Harry in the Ministry of Magic, just after he finds out that the phrophecy is destroyed.... heres and excerpt from that part..... "Master, I am sorry, I knew not, I was fighting the Animagus Black!" sobbed Bellatrix, flinging herself down at Voldemort's feet as he paced slowly nearer. "Master, you should know -" "Be quiet, Bella," said Voldemort dangerously. "I shall deal with you in a moment. Do you think i have entered the Ministry of Magic to hear your snivelling apologies?" "But master - he is here - he is below -" (she's referring to Dumbledore here) Voldemort paid no attention. "I have nothing more to say to you, Potter," he said quietly. "You have irked me too often, for too long. AVADA KEDAVRA!" (killing curse) of course harry does not die... dumbledore saves him with some exceptional wizardy... but the reason i love this part so much...is because there is none of that corny ----... like...We meet again Mr. Potter, you will not escape this time, for i am the greatest mofo in the world of magic... blah blah bblah.... if you read any story... almost 100% of them have a part like this.... and i have ALWAYS hated that.... and when i read this the first time... i seriously jsut put down the book... and thought "She's hit it!" (Referring to author here)... she has written one of the greatest lines known to me... especially in all these modern day books..... two of the greatest known fantasies... are LOTR and HP... both authors are extremely talented... although JRR Tolkein isn't as credited by the younger crowd... anyways... vote vote vote away!
6th was my favorite. I liked the mood and technique used to write it. 4th and 5th are tied at a close second.
Can't vote as i've never read a HP book or seen one of the movies. Yes some may call me sad but i'm not really bothered with it. Also one of the few people alive who has never seen a star wars movie.
You've never seen a Starwars movie? i can understand not reading/seeing harry potter... but starwars... thats like something everyone has seen...the last three movies were a great disappointment... rushed i say... but still worth seeing.... anyways back to topic.... i was very hard choosing between 5th and 6th... but i like the plot outline more in the 5th one..
Im reading #7 at the moment, its a good read. What, you blokes didnt get it yet? Its out at the bookstores now!
I vote 5th! Cause you know why....because I've only read up to that part  They all seem so awesome...
I never really got into these, after reading the first one, I kinda felt it was.....childish. Than I saw the movie, and that was it.
