Hey i just wanted to know if anyones ever heard of the band 'Dream Theater' ..... if you like metal/rock, soft/metal, metal, heavy metal, grunge/metal, grunge/rock, rock, rock and roll, classic rock, or blues ... and also have a taste in music... u will msot likely love this band...they put together music soo incredibly well that its a surprise not many people have heard of them.... their guitarist John Petrucci matches guitarists like Steve Vai and Joe Satrianni... and their singer James Labrei is very very talented... so if you haven't ever listened to them id recommend listening to them and lvoe to hear what you think
They're brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Saw them a few years ago, and they did, quite possibly, the BEST cover of Metallica's 'Master Of Puppets' that I had ever heard. Almost as good as Metallica did it on their 'Damage Inc' tour with Anthrax. They wont dissappoint people who haven't heard them yet. *thumbs up*
yes i must agree with that.... its disappointing that not many people know them..... you can say 'Led Zeppelin' to almsot any person over 40 and they will know who they are... but say Dream Theater and about 10% of people know them...
pfftness! why didn't u like them? they play some songs that are kinda like Atreyu..... i like Atreyu.. good band... but DT is better
Yeah i've heard of tem but in my opinion they suck. I'm not a soft rock fan. Heavier stuff is for me.
they arent all soft rock... if you read what i said at beginning...... there's actually about 5% of their songs that are soft rock.... try listening to..... The Glass Prison, This Dying Soul, The Root Of All Evil, A Change Of Seasons, or Under a Glass Moon..... those might change ur mind
I've listened to as many songs as i need to do to realise they aren't for me. Just cos you like them doesn't mean i will.
