Try this there were some issues with your previous setup. The cpu is not over the top as it is 2 in one and its the bottom of the range however an awesome cpu also overlocks well.

    Processor:
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+

    Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 (poor for ocing, but great board have it - if you only want to overclock 400mhz max it will be fine)

    or
    ASRock 939Dual-SATA2

    Memory:
    Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2PT

    Graphics Card:
    connect3D Radeon X800GTO
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814142052

    Case(s):
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811125450
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811212008
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811156172

It doesnt matter which case you get as long as you like it. But its always handy to get one with a psu just in case you have issues and need to test stuff.

    Power Supply
    ePOWER Puma II

He's saying that, it's not stupidly expensive, and it's not the worst you can buy.

In other words, it's a well priced card, of a new technology, and it overclocks well.

    I bought one :)

Stick with that ASUS as last 2 and a half months msi have been performing poorly and asus have fixed their issues with their recent boards.
