I have £300 to burn, and i cant make up my mind what to buy. i was thinking a new GFX card, but then i thought the decent Xbox 360 package. but im not sure at all. an yideas on what i should get? link me to images, ads, reviews or whatever i think £300 is around $450-500...
well we cant tell u what to buy there are so many things out there it depends on what u need and like. if i had the money i'd buy an mp3 players cause that what i need now
i like the look of the video iPod... but i have a normal one now... i dont know if i want to buy another one
I'd personally keep the money and save up a lot more becoz there's gonna be a time when something comes along that you really want and your not gonna have money for it, save ur money dude best option. Ive been spending to much lately, trust me save!!
Sorry I don't know the exchange rate of pounds to dollar so I can'ttell ya. But a graphics card will go farther then an ipod...go with the card.
yea, i was thinking the card, but then i thought xbox 360 because they have online gaming with better or equal graphics. i think the card is slowly easing out of the question 0.o'
Pounds are worth slightly more than USD. 300quid may equal around US$375-400. I wouldn't get a 360 just yet, my friend got one and within a week, the green light turned red due to overheating (biggest powersource plug I have ever seen) plus if you already have one Ipod, it'll be a pain to sync two different IPods to one PC (it ----ed up my libraries for both) If I had that much loot right now, I'd party like a Kennedy!! *holds up beer mug*
a 7800GT with unlocked pipelines has better graphics than the 60, and it can play all the older PC games as well(well don't expect anything from the MS-DOS era but you know what I mean). also when the TIme comes, you can get another one and go SLi for about 50-80% increased performance. FYI the 7800 GT is around 300-350 USD so you woul have a little cash left over. EDIT: better yet, listen to the dude who said save the cash for later.
your friend shouldnt of used it as a toaster then [/b][/quote] it's not his fault though, approximately 50% of the 60s are defective in one or more ways.
if your smart save the money till after christmas or when PS3 come out. but if you have the urge to spend i suggest you buy a 60 and a couple of games and spend countless hours in front of it.
