I am looking for the top of the range GFX card, but i dont want to spend over £200, thats $350. i want a card that will handle all the latest games that are out now, nd games that are not yet out. i want the memory to be atleast 256MB. any suggestions on what i should get? and also, i have a question. i have NFSU Most Wanted, and its all choppy and slow. will it run at full performance by just buying a new GFX card? i have a 2.0GHz AMD Athalon 64 3200+ Processor. if i just bought a new GFX card would the games all run nice and smoothly? or do i need to buy other things?
Nivida just released a 512 MB version of the 7800 GTX...its round the 700$ mark so it is costly...but its the best card on market if u can afford it or there is the Nvidia 6800GS which was designed to match the new X1600 and it costs roughly 300$ if ur looking to go ATI then there would be too good cards i can see...both are X800 but just diff versions of card... the X800GT is round 200$ and the X800Pro is round 300$ again...so there are many different video cards that will do what you want... and it maybe a good idea too upgrade ur RAM a bit...too 1 GB (if you dont already) *NOTE* those are CDN $$$ not USD
