ummm no... 7800gtx is the best nvidia card available, and they cost around 600 - 700 dollars, not 300... Nvidia is 10000x better than ATI, ATI is a piece of junk lol. You also need PCI express to use a 7800gtx. I would say go for a GeForce 6600GT or the 6800GS. [/b][/quote]
Wow. I have never met a more ignorant person in my entire life. So, I'll correct you one mistake at a time.

    7800GTX for $600? I think not. Here's one for under $500.

nVidia is better than ATI? Not all the time, buddy.

And uh...duh you need to use PCIe for the GTX. You also need to use it for the 6800GS, and the 6600GT comes in AGP and PCIe.

And, one last thing. 6800GS's in SLI are better than a single 7800GTX.

They're even better than the X1800XT in some tests, which is quite a feat.

yes maybe under 600 for a crappy brand, i.e the one you just mentioned.. and when i say ati is crap i didn't mean it in graphics wise, i meant it in reliability and quality, they make ----ty cards, always have problems and break. and i never said that running a 2 6600GT's in SLI is better than single 7800gt either... so stop your winging please

... why bother overclocking when you can just buy a nvidia card that doesn't need overclocking and already beats the piece of crap ATI card...

Ive held true to ATI... but nVidia is playing like AMD: catching up and being better than its rival. High graphics: (SLI also...) go with nVidia. Basic stuff = ATI

And... the Aussie- American dollar exhange rate is approximently 1 AD (Australian Dollar) to .75 USD. And 600 x .75 = 450 USD for a 7800GTX. Figuring in the import costs, that would probably put the cost at right about $425 a card. Don't call a mod an idiot when you're the one that's wrong.

Okay, so that would put it at about 495 USD, including the shipping. Still approximently the same price as over here. He said min. 600 aussie dollars, so I used 600 in my calculations.
