Can Xbox 360 Play Xbox Games Online

    and with people on regular xbox live my friend told me that we both could play halo but im not sure does anyone know?

    I'm not sure I understand the question, could you explain it a bit more?

    like you put a regular xbox 1 game in the xbox 360 then you can play it online with people who have the regular xbox

    He wants to know if he can play Xbox games online using the Xbox 360.

    I tihnk so, not sure. Need gold Live membership though.

    yes you can. There are only about 200 orginal xbox games you can play online for 360. You need a gold membership. Yes you can play with people who are playing on a xbox.

    exp You can play halo2 on 360 and have someone across the US playing Halo2 on Xbox and both be in the same party and play the game normal. Xbox Live is all the same network.

    thanks guys u told me exactuly what i watned to know sweet now my friend and i can play halo until i get my 360 can any1 supply the list of games ill pay creds for it

    Your friend can play Xbox games on his 360 as long as he has a hard drive. He can play online with other people on either a 360 or Xbox as long as he has a Gold Membership.

    Backwards Compatible Xbox Games - Here is the official list of backwards compatible games, right from the Xbox website. No credits needed, it's free information.

    Mic's work the same, although because your friend will actually be playing Halo 2 off an emulator inside the 360, the sound quality from Live players on Xbox doesn't sound as clear as they would on a normal Xbox. Actually it sounds like the person talking is in the washroom and they're quietly whispering across the room to where their microphone lies on the floor. It's lame but livable.
