This thing is awesome, but did you mention it is a free scan and you have to buy the full version to remove anything?

yup norton sucks hard and you have to pay once your subscription expires?

i use Avast! its one of the BEST free ware for virus protection. it updates every now and then and it doesnt cost you a dime. just go download the home edition.

I use Kaspersky. You have to pay for yearly keys but it's a great program. And I love the pig sound that happens when it finds a virus on a website. It squeals!

I figure I should post this just for those who don't know:

If you have Norton you WILL get more viruses. Norton is a virus magnet, people make viruses just to go around Norton or completely destroy it. We had Norton and kept getting viruses and eventually we got one that completely messed up Norton. Eventually we just got rid of Norton. Haven't gotten a virus since.

Moral of the story: Don't get Norton

Also, for spy ware: spybot and spysweeper work well. Not sure about trojans, never had one
