I creted a SQL database named 'cherries1' I than filled out all my information I needed to in order for IPB to install. as my database name I put 'cherries1'. I clicked proceed and recieved the following error: " Connection error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) " anyone know what the problem is?
IF your using Cpanel, open My SQL Databases and see what the full name of the database is, it might be whoknowswhat_'cherries1' and you need the full name.
I know the database name, its 'cherries1' but I get the error when I put it in. and I don't use cpanel.
