Question Bout Avast!

    so after its done scanning almost all the files it scanned it says unable to scan and something about it doesnt have permisson? i have avast 4.6

    do you have administration powers? did you register Avast?

    yes i did the register the free home verson and i do have admin on this account

    I have that problem too, it is all archive files which just means it couldn't scan. I wouldn't take too much of it.

    sounds like a virus preventing you to check it, do you have any other AVs running?

    if not, try doing an at-boot scan. right click the avast window, and choose 'schedule boot time scan'.

    ^could be that too...

    no i dont but when i did a trend mirco housecall virus checked it scanned those files? and a few were infected thats why i want it to scan them
