Graphics and/or Gaming is your best bet. Make sure your site has a nice look to it or else damn good content. That is a big factor. Nobody wants to look at and ugly GFX or Gaming forum/site, if they can easily join another one that looks 100x better and is only a few clicks away.
If that's a big factor, then GR wouldn't be where it is now today because there are forums that have better banners, skins, etc.
Yes but the thing is GR was a unique idea, which is also a good way to get big, but since others had already posted that I felt no need to restate what had already been said...
Whatever you decde, make sure the mods you appoint are friendly and fair. Nothing I hate more than a mod with a ---- up their ass.
