This is called Phishing... nothing new. This is why you never sign into a website through your email... even if it looks legit. If they tell you your account is limited, go to the official site, and make sure you have httpS for a server layer. This means you are on a secure site. You can also look to see the padlock on the bottom right hand side of Internet Explorer if that's what you use. Sign in there and only there... unless you wanna get scammed.
Just never open an .exe site and no site will ever ask you for personal information, and almost never to open an attachment. Nice catch
i get those all the time and they can choose who the sender looks like because they use their SMTP mail server which is anonymous, but u can edit a script that makes the sender anything u want.
I got a question bout PayPal and dont wanna waste another topic about it.. Is it possible to like, store money onto my PayPal account untill I have it set up for a bank account or credit card or whatever?
Yes thats what i do. And thanks for the heads up man, though I do find it kinda ironic that your name is red alert and you are alerting us
I get atleast 10 of these a week. I just laugh and hit delete. If something is wrong with paypal it would be on the news, or atleast big internet news sites.
My parents got this. Paypal said they will always use your name/account name when sending emails. Never "PayPal user". Little heads-up.
