Ok here goes.. my first shot at rendering. Original:

you need to practice more

umm....yea not that great but next time you should do a easier picture and try not to cut off anything(like the sword)

 

Yeah I had to cut off the sword though cuz it was really bright and.. yeah.. <_<

 

Use the pen tool, not the magic wand tool.

 

yea this is great for ur first render...mostly everyone has used the pen tool the first time through...that sword isnt easy to do and for a starer im not suprise u didnt do it cause there hard...its like hair...good job mate good job...+rep

 

don't rush it either just take some time...u'll get better no worries

 

Zoom in nice and close. Go slow. It's pretty choppy and... the sword went poof! =(

keep practicing and youll get better a pretty good start though. take your time and keep thinking that youve missed spots so you can check for more. keep it up though and youll get better
