    the x800 is better than x1600.
    the 6800gs is the best bang for your buck at the moment.
    the 6800gs cannot be overclocked well as it is already overclocked.

    Nvidia 7800GT will have to pay 100 bucks more but its dropping. Sorry but if you want to max out games like BF2 you need a good GFX card and Nvidia is far better than ATI.

    You don't know what you're talking about. I got two XFX 6800GS's which are factory overclocked to 485/1100. I was able to get them up to 530/1200 without any artifacting. I'm sure that a single card could do even better.

    3dMark05 = 10023

    Better than a 7800GTX or an X1800XT.

    not if you unlock an connect3D x800gto which will go to 16 pipes and can be overclocked to 550/550 easily.

    ummm no... 7800gtx is the best nvidia card available, and they cost around 600 - 700 dollars, not 300... Nvidia is 10000x better than ATI, ATI is a piece of junk lol. You also need PCI express to use a 7800gtx. I would say go for a GeForce 6600GT or the 6800GS.
