I don't think this is too bad for my...5th render.. Theres some white around it i didn't get cut out. I might work on it later tho. Anyone wanna rate 1 outta 10? Im not that sure at what the whole "rep, cred", thing is. But do whatever with the "rep, cred" thing you normally do. ^_^ (I read the thing about the rep and cred...but i get confused easyly..lol.. if someone might be able to explain a lil more, that would help me out a lot.)
    Thanks,
    Kerio

Well, when it comes to repping and credding, it's simple logic:

    1. If you like what a guy did for you or the community in general, you give him a rep or some creds - IF YOU FEEL HE/SHE EARNED IT. Don't need to feel too guilty about being a scrooge since practically 3/4 of the forum act like one. Join the club.

    Vice versa as well.

    2. Don't give improper -REPs. For example don't do a counter -REP and -REP someone just because he/she -REPPed you. That happens a lot, but you'll hardly see people +REPing someone for +REPing them...

Same goes for opinions over work. But a -REP can be appropriate if the guy's really grillin in his flaming. Accept critism. It's good for you.

An improper -REP can be overturned by PMing an admin. Think smart and you'll do that instead of posting it on the Problems/Suggestion forum.

As for giving out creds for nothing... do it if you feel generous: just don't ask for REPs for it, for that's considered wrong.

Oh, that reminds me - don't beg for reps. Not only does it make you look like an annoying n00b, but it's not allowed either.

Can't take away creds, so that's out of question (unless you steal via the Shop Item).

    3. As for the REP messages - just act mature. A guy recently advertised his render on my REP area... and that's the most goddamn innovative thing I've ever seen.

    ==========================================

To be quite frank, the REP system is like a collector's item - but it can help if you want to look some biggot boy.

As for the render, I see you've managed to preserve the outlines which is good... but that doesn't prove anything.

You need to get a transparent background m8. A white background can easily be wanded away - yes, but people prefer transparent PNGs.

Also wand jobs never produce perfect results.

EDIT: Havn't seen a render of Rei for a long time too. Asuka's been dominating these past two months.

basically...if you get bored by Mr V's speeches like me.... let me tell you simply that rep makes you look cool and shows you are good at whatever GFX you are doing....creds can be given by people who can't rep....well it's true  well anyways that's about it.

well I am not a huge fan of the white outline around the render, and even the white outline has a choppy cut to it. Keep working at it I am sure that you will get better. Just follow kazuya's rendering tut and you will be making better renders in no time.

I like the choice of stock, but you really need to improve on your cutting. The white outline shouldn't be there and you need to make sure your selection is Antialised. To fix it get the Eraser tool zoom in and erase the white.

    You'll get there someday. =)
