Im currently looking for a good graphics card around 200$ thatll run bf2 and all other games out right nowon high. I was wondering which company u guys prefer, and if u could give me a specific card thatd be great
of course u can , heck for how many years we have used ati graphs with a nvidia motherboard ? nvidia can sue them if they make their mobos uncompatible with nvidia graphics cards.

I would get the 6800gs for definate performance, but if you want to have a go at unlocking the x800gto which is easy and overclock a slight bit it will be the best and its cheaper.
if u would like to buy at store i got a Geforce 6200 OC with 256MB it runs my BF2 and BF2 expandison great. if u have 512 ram in it i would recommd u get a another stick of 512 ram to make it a GB u can find that at bestbuy.com its on sale only $39.99. btw are u using a compaq computer?
I had no idea 6800 gs's were that cheap, they say it can be oc'd well too, ill prob get that one, thx man

At this point in time the 6800 gt is the best bang to buck ratio for the average user. The difference between ati and nvidia isnt all that much. Each generation one usually has a better offering last generation it was ati the 9_00s were way better then the 5_00s however in this generation nvidia won the 6_00s turned out to be great cards.
um.. Can i just say that ATI Owns for price and power!! My gfx card cost me £25 and is a 128mb - Not the best but you may be able to pick up a great ne for £80
