Site Rippers & Replicators

As GameRenders grows, so does the number of people who branch off. As can be seen from the bottom of the board's affiliate tags, many sites have branched off and seek their own fortunes & failures. Ripping is a common problem, in and outside of GameRenders.

As Global Moderators & Site Admin - we're here to serve and protect anyone who has posted their work here, and has had it ripped and posted on other sites. The problem arises though, how do we punish other sites & members who have left this community, and ripped work from this site?

After brainstorming, it came to the conclusion that the only way to eliminate such rips & to inform the public, is a list similar to the 'Hall of Shame', except for a link to sites who have known to rip others work to get their own site growing.

The original reason this came about was problems with CodedFX.com, and Gareth(the owner.) who was once the most active member at GameRenders - post wise ripping many renderers here.

After repeated threads from various people - rzn, skandalouz, etc...we have tried contacting Gareth to remove the renders he ripped from such people as *Blood*, rzn, Voltovs, and GWIA. The following evidence is to prove the rips:

The aboved images are taken from the original renders, and then animated to show Gareth's version. Often the only thing changed is the text on the render, or part of the render cut off to make it seem smaller. Some will argue that Gareth just did a perfect render, but the evidence speaks for itself. Some will even go as far as to say what if *Blood*, rzn, Voltovs, and GWIA ripped Gareth? As you can clearly see, these are rzn's renders next to the ones Gareth ripped - with time stamps, clearing showing rzn's renders as the older ones. Doing a search in the render sections will also reveal the dates of when rzn posted these renders.

Some will claim the following evidence was photoshop'd, well..i encourage you to download the pack at CodedFX and check the dates on the renders compared to rzn's, which can be found here in the Resource section or his signature section.

Everytime post were created regarding the rips, moderators & admin deleted them at CodedFX. GameRenders is now sending a message to CodedFX and all other sites - we are not putting up with this anymore. For now on, all sites caught ripping renders or giving them out a gigantic render pack without permission from the renderers will be posted here, along with sites that steal the layout & skin of GameRenders and claim it as their own(a replicator as Key Faith Designs likes to call it.)

Its a pity people resort to such measures as to rip for e-appeal

 

I have to congragulate you on this idea yet how is this gonna stop them from ripping? Some rippers have no manners and won't care if they're on a list.

 

Glad to see the ripping issue has been taken a step further.

 

It will publically let people know from one of the biggest graphic sites currently up - which sites have respected others work.

A blacklist of sites for people to not join, and to beware of in the future if associated with such a site.

 

Bftp Can you take pictures of the threads on that site, i Was banned from the site for saying "Wow this evidence is convincing" and i got banned 1 post...

Proves more that he ripped because if he dident rip why would he ban me?

 

Interesting... Renderers should tag their name on the render unoticeable and only visible when magnifing it. Thats probably what im going to start doing

Lol I made an account on CodedFx named Gareth Rips The poor members there were still trying to protect there owner.
