I've heard that with the 360, if you play a game, it burns an image into your screen. Almost like you are using a projection TV. If you go to one level, you can see a shadow of the previous level on your screen. 360 Has been out for what? A week? 2 Weeks? Already they discover a problem like this.... ~~Peace.
I know this really sucks but also the PS3 are having big trouble as they have alot errors too, the current error on xbox will be devastating for thos ewho brought it for like over 400
Any image that is left on a screen for too long will eventually burn into your screen. If you decide to pause a game for a long time on any screen, you will have a ghost image burned into your screen. As for this problem with the 360, HDTV's take less time to create a ghost image on the screen, so if you do leave a game paused, or play a game with static status bars on-screen, you are more likely to create a ghost image on your screen then if you are watching TV. It does state in the Xbox 360 manual that you should read your TV's owner manual before playing video games on the TV. This is also why the Xbox & 360 have a screen saver, after 10 minutes of inactivity, the screen dims the chances of an image being burned into the screen is less. Any game system can burn an image into a screen, not just the 360.
I tried searching Google for any information relaying to the Xbox 360 burning images on your TV faster than any other device and couldn't find any. Possibly because this is a bogus or exaggerated claim? I can think of no reason why the 360 would burn an image faster onto a screen than any other system. They're made for HDTV's therefore they will work best with HDTV's. Please post your source for this claim nightnin. As for the rest of the problems with the 360 which multiple posts on this forum and others have pointed to, I believe Gamespot put it best.
Its not an actual burn in to the tv. Its just with the hardware. At the HIH there is a 4 page topic about this.
Ahh k, I found the topic. For those interested it's here. Is it just with Halo 2 then? If it is it's probably a problem with the emulator in the 360 running Halo 2. Probably see a fix soon enough.
How are we going to know about ps3 problems.... but anyways, are you guys saying that xbox 360 might not be worth it?
