Are You Considered "fat"

Today's society often looks down upon fat people. I am not fat. If you are a little overweight you are considered "fat". I don't have a problem with fat people but some people do. Post your thoughts.

 

The general opinion of fat people is lazy slobs who do nothing all day, and so are not exactly regarded highly, but those who are perhaps slightly fat or overweight do not tend to have many troubles with it.
Im not trying to generalise but in a lot of the more extreme cases, this is not far from the truth, and i find it hard to sympathise with some people who expect someone to stop them being fat as they are, with no intent of helping themselves.
Otherwise, cases may be entirely justifiable, such as a forced diet or a bodily factor, such as metabolism. In that way, people should not be looked down upon for this.

That is the internationally accepted method of determining obesity. If you rank "overweight" or "obese" on that, tough luck. You're fat.

I can't stand how fat America is...it's disgusting. Everyone should watch Super Size Me, it's a great movie about what's really going on with the fast food chains and what they're doing to the country.

 

Asians don't get fat.

Fat people just need to exercise more. If you burn more calories than you eat, YOU HAVE TO LOSE WEIGHT. It's impossible to stay fat if you exercise. Therefore, I do not have a positive view on fat people.

 

i honestly couldnt care less, you wanna ruin your life by eating thats your choice enjoy it while you can i will stick to my football, and leave it at that

 

exactly they always come up with excuses for being fat which is bull.. YOUR FAT BECAUSE YOU EAT ALOT AND DONT WORK IT OFF DONT BLAME THE WORLD.. best way is to start some light jogging with friends

 

Well I did that BMI Calcuator, and it said I'm normal, but I am overweight for my age, but I do excerise reguarly, go on diets, but the thing is, i eat something fatting, i put on weight really easy.

ANYONE can get fat, so I have no idea what the you're talking about.
It's just generalising, not fact.

 

i'm defo not fat 4% body fat and i'm 11 stone.

 

This dude is telling the truth its your life. What ever you do you choose it not other people. Im not fat because i Play football everyday and i train all the time.

I'm not fat. I'm still at school, and there is a real fat guy, and ppl aren't very nice to him. I hate ppl who makes fun out of fat ppl.

I have the same respect for them as for others.

 

I do not care about being friends but I would never date a fat girl.But they think I do not eat they call me bones.

 

Look its not how they look its whats inside them. Like my teacher said ' You cant judje a book by its cover' . Hate people who take the P*** out of Fat People its not right really.
