It sort of depends on what you want a computer for. Video/Image editing then get a Mac. Gaming go for a PC. That is the best answer you're gonna get.
MAc OSX kills windows everytime...(only for the operating sytem though, mac harware sucks) if you are talking about which setup will give you more power and be cheaper though, windows PCs do better though. Also, PC have better software and you can always install linux if yolu want to be virus proof/ultra stable... I installed linux along with windows
so i can have linux and windows and switch between them-cuz is clear to me that you all think windows is better lol
windows FTW windows is much better IMO, windows does have more viruses, exploits and spyware threats but the interface just cant be beat macs are over priced for the capabilities and are too fancy, i dont want my window to be animated when i open and close it
With Fedora Code 4, the latest Linux distro of RedHat, you can make a seperate partition, or use the same partition that window uses. It is very easy to switch between them with Lilo (the Linux OS chooser) Just remember to install Win XP FIRST, or it will overwrite Lilo.
iight well when i get my laptop im gonna probly want some help with that lol so you might hear from me again
