Windowsxp Avatars.

Does anyone know in which folder are saved those winxp user icons?

 

I dont know, but why do you need to know that ? You can select your own avatars if you want.

 

C://windows// something im not sure. I guess if you want to use them for an avatar elsewhere the quick way would be to take a screenshot of the avatar screen and then crop which one you wanted with photoshop.

If you want to change your avatar, go to
Control Panel > User Accounts > YOUR Account > Change my Picture.
And if you didn't like the ones they had you can just browse for more pictures.

i just wanted to put some avatars made by me in that folder so maybe they would appear in the selection window with the default ones...

 

i think it might be under windows/resources but im not sure

 

I will hve a search for you now, i will edit when ive found the DIR.

Got em:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures
That should do it, theres another folder in that DIr with the default pics in.
