What Processor Should I Buy?

    Yeah, AMD and Intel are uncomparable, really.

    I had for awhile a Intel Duron 2.7GHz

    Recently, after my computer went kaput, I got a new comp with AMD Athlon XP 3000+ with Barton Core.

    Alough the clock time on my AMD (~2.2GHz) was not as fast as my Intel (2.7GHz), it still made my computer faster. It does this by all said above, faster processing, more fsb, and so on.

    I'd go with Athlon.

    AMD ATHLON 64 3800+ D-CORE - 360.53 for sure.
