I got the free version before it was costing. UBB (Ultimate Bulletin Board) is pretty good. It's almost the same as phpbb. I reckon that IPB is still the best, though.
even in we geat everyone in this whole forum to post syaing that they prolly wont chagne it .so i post saying it should be free, but nothing is going to happen
So whats the big differance from IPB and phpbb. Why not just use phpbb cause its free...and IPB costs money. Is there any features that IPB has that phpbb does not?
phpbb is more proned to be hacked, and it has shittier skins,mods,etc. Personally, I don't think ipb should be free, but cost less. because if its free, what do they have to fund 3.0.x?? hmm or w/e the new version will be at the time.
