AGP came out about 5 years ago, that was the in hight speed thing, now pci express is out, that is even faster. I prefer nvidia because i know they work, my ati fused itself to it's slot.

he cannot use either. dells dont come with agp or pci-e.

He has to get pci so his best would be a 5700 or something along those lines.

5700 or 5500 or a ATI 9250 for 80 bucks but with a 40 rebate will be good

This is a new computer.. :)

You got a link to this 5700 you're speaking of?

I'll take a look to make sure of that when I get home from school tomorrow.

Can I get a link to this 5700 tho?

Thanks for all the replies, helping much. :D

    Double post.. But Bump..

    Found this on ebay.

    <<CLICKME>>

I checked on Dell's site to see what slots I had. It says for a dimension 3000 (mine), it has 3 PCI slots.

Could I use that card from the link? Or can someone find me information on it? Thanks in advance. :)

I'm thinking Battlefield 2 and CS: Source. If possible, Quake 4; but, I figure I'll need more RAM for that.

Can someone check the link I posted a few posts before this and see if I could use it?

It says Diamond ATi Radeon 256MB 9250 PCI.. yet it's only $70? Doesn't seem right, and there's no actual picture of the product.
