Okay, as I am in the top 5 highest reputation on GR, I will tell you how I made my +reps. I am a renderer. I am one of the most well known renderers on GR. That is one way I got to the Render Staff position. So, I would go around finding things to render, and every so often I would get a +rep for it. The more awesome the picture is and useable it is, the more +reps I got for it. Also the more difficult the cut was, I would get more +Reps for it too. Then I released a render pack with all my renders, and I got roughly 25 +reps for that, for giving it out for free. Keyword there is FREE. Free is a big part of +reps, and people like free. I have gained +reps mainly, almost completely, through giving away something free of some sort.
